ACUPUNCTURE AND MASSAGE THERAPY REDUCE PAIN OF ARTHRITIS

A recent study determined that Acupuncture combined with Massage Therapy reduced the pain experienced by patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Results of the study found that 91.2% of 48 participants said the combination treatment was effective in relieving the symptoms of their arthritis.

Results were as follows:

  • 50% reported overall improvement with Acupuncture and Massage Therapy.
  • 29.2% said the treatment had a "remarkable effect" on their condition.
  • 12.5% experienced clinical recovery after treatment.
  • 8.3% found the treatment ineffective.
